The Javeriana in Cali, Colombia, founded in 1970, is the second Campus of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, the oldest Colombian university, started in Bogotá by the Jesuits in 1623.
 
It is a catholic university, created and directed by the Company of Jesus, with an open mind the pursuit of all scientific and technological thought and development.
 
Its campus, regarded as one of the most admired architectural designs in the region, is located in the suburban area in the south of the city, an surrounded by a rich diversity of flora an fauna, typical of the Andean mountain range of Western Colombia.
